Knight6yoa Male, Black and Tan German Shepherd, released by a Private Security Company. Knight has been a working dog and has earned several tours overseas. His service has earned him the right to retire and just be a dog. Experience with K-9 a must. Would be a great fit for a family. He does well with children.Rocky5yoa Male, Black and Tan German Shepherd. Very sweet boy however has been released due to aggressive behavior towards strangers. He will bite strangers and will bite if provoked. While at H2H Rocky continues basic training on a leash. He does very well and loves to just hang out around the property. He is a big kisser to his handler. Experience with German Shepherds a must. Zoe3yoa Female, Black. Zoe was released from a family in Idaho who lost their job and are unable to keep her. Zoe is playful and enjoys running through the pasture and an occasional chase of  birds. She jumps at flying insects and attemps to catch them with her mouth. She loves a game of fetch and cries when no one will play with her. She has no behavioral issues that we are aware of. She plays well with other dogs. She is ready for her next forever home.

ADOPTION PROCESS

STEP ONE

Call or email to schedule an appointment. Once an appointment is scheduled you will come to H2H and meet with Vince or one of the Volunteers. At this time you will fill out an application. You will have a supervised interaction with the animal that you are interested in.

STEP TWO

After your application has been reviewed, a home visit will be conducted by one of our volunteers.

STEP THREE

The Adoption Takes place once an adoption agreement is signed. Your new family member will be scheduled with an apointment to be altered. After the surgery and they are released from the vet you will be able to pick up your new family member.

A FOLLOW UP HOME VISIT WILL BE CONDUCTED WITH IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS AFTER THE ADOPTION TO ENSURE THE WELL BEING OF THE ANIMAL. 

All German Shepherd /Husky Rescues must be current on all vacinations and parvo negative (for canine) prior to arrival at H2H to avoid a relinquish fee. All fees go to vet costs.  The average costs of each animal to be vacinated with a complete physical is between $75.00 and $95.00 dollars per canine.

At this time we have a standard adoption fee of $75.00 for canines. However Keep in mind that it costs money for food, water, and power, fuel for home visits, Web site and administration costs.  Please keep this in mind when you adopt.
